“We took my 95 year old mother for a short vacation to this cottage and it was perfect. Other than 2 steps up (which we knew about in advance) everything was on one level and the bed in the spare room was low enough for her to easily get in and out of. The lake is beautiful and we appreciated having the screened in porch to keep out the June mosquitoes. There was a nesting pair of loons that hung around in the bay. Only 1.5 hours up to Algonquin visitor centre and the accessible Spruce Board……
