The only thing was the washroom doesn't have a door and isn't completely closed off (it is sectioned off behind the main room), so just be advised before you go. Otherwise, the lake was gorgeous, the amenities were great and it was definitely a unique and fun place to stay! Thank you so much for sharing your property with us!”

“This was the worst cottage experience we had. Upon arrival we noticed a blood stain on the mattress and pillow and messaged the owner but he couldn’t do anything until the next day so we slept on the couch. Next day we only got a mattress cover arnd 5 pm instead of he changing the mattress and pillow for us. So didn’t even use the pillow. Next day after while eating breakfast we heard a continuous gurgling sound from the bathroom. When I went to inspect it. The sewage was backing up from toilet……

“The bunkie was a perfect space for me, my husband, and our med and lg dogs. There is a beautiful view of the Ottawa River from the bedroom. The host has thought of almost anything you could need, from a guide of trails and attractions in the area, to a tie out on the deck for a dog, a variety of snacks for any type of palate, spices and oils for you to cook with, even instant oats and coffee or tea for the morning if you'd like. It felt very homey and warm, and we could imagine how warm it……

“very clean and comfortable! the small fridge may not be ideal if you are hoping to cook at home often, but we made it work. The hosts' personal touches are everywhere, making it really feel like a home away from home! The place is a bit out of the way but a very quick drive to downtown Picton, and we really did love the sunset views!”

“Huge place, less expensive than Cribs on Main. Pleasant 10 minute walk to Picton shops and restaurants through calm residential area. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked well equipped. Parking in back was fine. One traveller goes out to car through patio door, other traveller has to stay inside to lock patio door then go out through the front door and get picked up there. Not a problem, but could be awkward if you need to leave and you are on your own. Host very quick to respond. A……
