“Unfortunately, our room smelled like an ashtray & I'd asked for a non-smoking room. The was no shower curtain, There was hair from the previous people all over the bedspread and shower. The hairdryer did not work. The towels were stained & frayed. There were people that seemed to be junkies arguing during the evening a few rooms away. Not an ideal stay.”

“Expedia reserved a non existent room style. Hampton Inn upgraded us to make it work. We had to call for bedding for pull out couch. Breakfast was disappointing. Items were cold or gone. Not being refilled. Room was clean. Alex at front desk was extremely helpful.”

“The hotel wasn’t perfect, but we had a quiet time during our long weekend in the Leesburg area. The hotel was a quick drive from everything that we wanted to see and eat. The room was comfortable, which was the most important. The pool area was good. The cleanliness of the halls was oddly off. The free breakfast was skippable. There are so many good places to eat nearby, you should definitely skip the hotel breakfast.”

“Everything you could ask for when staying away from home is here: excellent cleanliness, a friendly and attentive staff, comfort, great facilities, and everything you need conveniently close by. We loved everything, especially the variety and quality of the breakfast. Thank you so much for providing such excellent service and making our stay so enjoyable. Without a doubt, this will be our preferred place to stay when we come back. We hope to return soon!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown……

“We enjoyed our stay and the property was exactly what we were looking for in a mountain getaway peaceful, private, and immersed in the woods with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.The home was clean, quiet, and met our needs well for a restful escape. The hosts were communicative and supportive, although we did not need to reach out during our stay.The driveway is definitely mountain-style, so guests should come prepared and be mindful of the vehicle they bring, but the secluded setting……
