"It’s a nice newer hotel, just far enough from IAD to be quiet. It’s in an office area so really no road noise after 6pm. And absolutely no freeway noise."

"It was clean and basic. The bed was very old and can feel the springs. It’s an older place but it was ok for one night."

Nothing around the place except for a couple of restaurants, otherwise you need a transportation. The shuttle service from/to the airport was a bonus. It's recommended for a layover or a short stay. "We have stayed here several times and found it most cases very excellent. What we complain about is their bathroom facilities. We're getting to the age where grab bars etc. are important and find their tub set up was not very good. We stayed in a handicap room but even still they only had one grab bar which is very difficult to use to get soap mounted at the rear wall of shower when the grab bar is on the side wal. They do need to take a hard look in this area."

"Overall and excellent hotel. Cooked to order breakfast was lacking at times. Never saw any bacon or the ability to have cooked eggs other than an omelet, which was good. On the weekends they cut back on the offerings and also resorted to paper plates and plastic silverware. I stayed for a week. The Manager's Happy Hour was different than I had experienced in the past. They counted your beverages and upgrades to the bar menu different than before. They only served Bud and Bud Light, you had to pay for anything else. In the past Embassy Suites would offer at least 2 types of beer. Also the Happy Hour snacks were not heavy Hors d'oeuvres, only chips and dip. The hotel did not offer shuttle service to either the Dulles Airport or the nearest Metro Station, which was an inconvenience."
