"Very convenient to catch a flight early in the morning. Unfortunately my request to bring me a bath robe was ignored twice. The interior could be more pleasant. "

The contents of the sandwiches should be fully declared and not some items and not others. "Tried to arrange everything in advance for a stay with my mum, who has mobility issues. Staff were very accomodating, however, everything was a little further away than they made it out to be. Which did cause some issues. Fine if you are a wheelchair user, but my mum uses crutches to get around. It was not that easy for her. Rooms are very basic, for the price and the attraction of "Horwood House". Be careful, the beds are on wheels, which surprised my mum, as she almost fell off. They are also pretty firm matresses, not the most comfortable night I've ever had. I also had a dripping noise all night in my room, that sounded like the buildings heating. The pool/spa was lovely though. Not many changing facilities, so queues happen often, but it was nice and modern and clean. Dinner at Harrys was excellent. Fresh, hot and delicious. Be aware the cocktails are very expensive though. Breakfast was a disappointment. Definitely not worth £20 per person. I know its geared up for wedding parties/conferences, but the quality was so bad and nothing was as warm as it should be. The staff however, are amazing. They were so accomdating, friendly and willing to go over and above. This ranges from reception, to the staff at Harrys, the Spa and 1911 for breakfast. The staff truly made the visit special, even if some of the other stuff was a disappointment."

"Hotel was good for a one night stopover. Clean rooms but walls paper thin could hear next doors conversation, bed was firm with good fluffy pillows, basic breakfast but enough to fulfil expectations. Photos of property feel a little misleading as you do not go into main property, the hotel reception is a separate building and standard rooms are in another building attached to that. We stayed in a standard double."

"Standard Village hotel. Clean and good staff. Usual full car park everytime. Shame it’s on an industrial estate. But other than that it’s good and quiet. "
