“Although the room was relatively clean, I did not feel safe not having a locking out door especially after recent incidents at Travelodge
The hot water was lukewarm and hardly running out of the main sink tap
Mattress was lumpy not that comfortable mould in shower on ceiling.
Staff are very friendly unfortunately this is a very tired accommodation walls incredibly thin.
For a pub with rooms, it’s on the expensive side”

“Fire alarm went off twice early on the Sunday morning with heavy smoke caused by blocked chimney in the restaurant area - we decided to leave rather than stay for breakfast in a smoke filled room and was told we would receive a refund, but a refund was never provided.”
