“Watch for safe charge. They charge for a room safe. I told them I don't need. They said would be removed at check out. It was not.”

“Cute little hotel, definitely a small town experience! The room had everything we’d need. Very friendly staff at check in!”

“We felt very safe. There is no elevator, but we were able to carry our things up quickly. It's on a main street and it was pretty noisy with our windows open. But, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was great, except we missed the hard-boiled eggs. We could tell that someone cares about this place because there is a fancy aquarium in the lobby, as well as meaningful decorations. Overall, we'd recommend it!”

“I have stayed here a number of times. It is usually clean, the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable enough, the free breakfast is nothing fancy but always hot with some good options.”

“We stay here everytime we travel to and from Colorado via our Iowa home. The beds are always comfortable. The room is clean and nice. The hotel is close but not bothered by I80 noise. And in the morning we have waffles!!”

“Room only had 3 sets of towels. Didn’t clean room at all in 4-day, 3-night stay. Was supposed to be a suite, bit only had 1 uncomfortable couch, 1 desk chair, and 1 dining room chair at a table. Bath tub had a sloped floor- uneven floor when showering. Hotel had large bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner on shower wall that were difficult to dispense and made the floor very, very slick. No grab bars.”

“We got a suite and it was nice. The breakfast was good but not as good as years ago, with no omelets or hash browns any more . But it's free so I can't complain too much. Pool area is still beautiful but I miss the hot tub. I like that it's walking distance to Whiskey Creek, one of my favorite restaurants. I've been going there for 45 years, through different ownerships and still enjoy it.”
