“This was our favorite stay in our travels across Ireland. It is a great location especially if you plan on hiking in Wicklow/Glendalough. It was a quiet, well maintained property. Now, there are employees on site during certain times of day so one call out is to pay close attention to your emails as you will get information to access to lodge remotely. “Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though.
