“Every time I step into the lobby of a hotel, I immediately smell the air. And when I get to the room, I smell the pillows and sheets. I'm not checking for dirty odors, I am checking for artificial fragrances "pumped in" to the hotel, or bedding that was washed in detergents that have a perfume smell. I have asthma, and artificial fragrances immediately cause my lungs to have issues. This Hampton Inn was PERFECT!! It just smelled clean, and I am THANKFUL for being able to RELAX and not worry……

“Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay here. The room was absolutely charming, with a king bed, jacuzzi tub, and a balcony with the spectacular river view. The complimentary breakfast served was a full, real country breakfast and delicious. Every staff member I met was more than gracious, kind, and hospitable-- each of them made my visit even more of a delight. Dinner at the restaurant was perfection: from the incredible views, the perfectly cooked steak, the (highly recommended) pot……
