Nestled along Lake Pend Oreille's shores, this tiny town offers peaceful kayaking adventures and spectacular mountain views. Hike nearby trails in the Cabinet Mountains or fish the clear waters when locals have the lake mostly to themselves.
Completely upgraded room, very clean, everything was excellent! As one review mentioned there is a train track across the highway and you can hear muffled voices in the adjacent room- but after a ski day when we sleep, we hear nothing!

We were on our motorcycles on a scenic route from Idaho through Montana and found this to be a perfect stop. Pleasantly surprised at how nice this was for such a reasonable price. Manager was so friendly and helpful, we felt like so welcomed. M/C friendly restaurants in walking distance and train and farm animals in the distance. So cool to have city accommodations in a rural setting ;o) Would definitely go again.

The owner of the hotel was incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to help us during our stay, even driving us to a restaurant since we were a group of hikers with no car and public transport in Bonners Ferry is limited to say the least. The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and i loved the little front yard area with picnic tables.

Enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly and courteous, and very helpful and attentive.
The breakfast was excellent with delicious waffles, fruit, buns, and coffees.

You can find a great deal from $86 on Hope motels with Expedia. Typically, prices are higher during popular times – like weekends and holidays – while staying midweek is often cheaper. To find the best nightly rates on Hope motels, try to be flexible with travel dates, and sort search results by price from low to high.
Is it better to stay in a Hope motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
