Lovely village feel with the hotel and the castle being at the centre. There was a wedding on in the castle, they seem to have many events at the grounds. We ate in the restaurant one night which was excellent (restaurant is closed on Sundays), the room was very spacious, modern and clean with a great shower room, breakfast was simple but did the job. Getting to Bologna is not that easy without a car as the local train station has only very few trains per day and the bus stop is quite a walk. Friendly staff and seemed to be on a bike / hiking trail.

Absolutely loved the friendly, helpful, thoughtful, professional staff! Our upgraded room was amazing! We loved the breakfast and our dinner at I’m Carrucci. Thank you again for arranging flowers and chocolates for our wedding anniversary and the bubbly too! We can’t recommend your hotel enough! It was the very best stay, indeed!!!

"For me the biggest tragedy was closing the pool on Sep.20th. I chose the hotel for it. So ,please state the fact in the begging not in the end of the reservation process.
