Lots of trip and height hazards due to variations in floor and ceiling levels throughout our top floor room and access corridor. Room selection should include information about these conditions, which came as a surprise. The quality of furnishings etc somewhat compensated but we needed to be vigilant not to hit our head or trip during our stay.

Beautiful room with some lovely homely touches. Location really good. Would recommend to friends and family. Breakfast was delicious. Only disappointment was that we had not booked a reservation to have dinner as was last minute hotel booking.

The large double room that I had booked was a good size and was very clean and nicely decorated. Only negative is that the room is quite dark and bathroom lighting around vanity area could be brighter. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is no lift so if you have heavy bags you will need to lug them up the staircase to get to your room.

Lovely stay for the price
This was a very last minute booking and the hotel was brilliant at accommodating us. The room was stunning and the cowshed products available to use were a nice touch. The mini bar is well stocked and the nespresso style machine was a great extra touch. We entered the room to classic fm playing which was lovely. Overall a really wonderful stay however, the noise from the neighbouring room was crystal clear, could hear their radio up until 12.30 and very loud talking through possibly paper thin walls.

All staff especially Elyana were welcoming & helpful. Decor throughout was tasteful. The meals are expensive as are the drinks but the menus are modern, unusual & varied

5 Star Stay at the Ginger Pig
Spent 2 nights whilst attending a Wedding in the area. Loved the Nespresso Machine and Ironing Board/Iron in Room. Great Breakfast and really enjoyed the bar. Special mention to Chelsea on the Front Desk!

I stayed at The Ginger Pig, while traveling with family for the holidays. Nestled in a nice residential area of Hove, The Ginger Pig is located near wonderful cafes, restaurants, shops and it's right across the street from the water. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the room was so tidy. The decor was very trendy and fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits in the morning were a nice treat. Plus, the restaurant downstairs served a great breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed staying outside of Brighton's city centre and being right by the water and in a quieter section of town in Hove. It was such a nice stay we're looking for an excuse to go back!

Perfect 1-night getaway. We needed to check in past reception check in time, so our key was left in a lock box, instructions were given to us and it was very straight forward. Room was a very good size and very clean! Minibar was a great extra, along with the cowshed toiletries.

Stayed here to reset after a busy week, was so good I extended my stay. All the comforts of home in the room - clean, warm and great service. Would stay here next time I am in Brighton, and the food at the restaurant is great!

Lovely room, bed & bathroom. Coffee machine needs instructions, very long walk from Brighton centre, breakfast should be included for such an expensive stay outside the centre of town.
