Even though it's an older Motel the rooms were nice. The staff was friendly.

One must realize they're staying in an historical site. The views are amazing, the staff always friendly. If I had any issues,staff was willing to address as needed. After one nights stay, decided another was needed. Asked about availability in person, and was accommodated, even matched the price shown on Expedia. This is the third time I've stayed in one of the casitas, and won't be the last. Other times camping at adjacent Winding Road tent sites, staff would say hello, wave and even went to the marina store and brought ice for my cooler. To those who complain about lack of amenities, I'd say book elsewhere or appreciate a break from modernity. For me, the in-room coffee pot, restroom and AC/Heater were all I needed. Many thanks to Damsite staff and we'll wishes to the new owners.

Sara and her husband went beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Even to finding us a place to dance, eat and soak in the wonderful waters of truth or consequences. Five stars doesn’t sound enough.

The room was very clean and tidy! Breakfast area was maintained and kept cleaned and stocked as food and supplies would go low, the lady in charge was doing a great job up keeping the food and cleanliness! Staff was friendly, and the room amenities, shampoo, conditioner, soap, Love the Dove Brand!!

Clean room and helpful staff. Easy parking and great location.
