I reserved a 2 Queen bed non-smoking room. Only a King bed room was provided upon arrival. No solution was offered. We accepted the stay, because of minimal alternatives and cancellation cost would incur.

The property was dirty, and only two or three people could use the elevator or the motor might burn out and it wouldn’t work. Also, the guest laundry was open 24 hours and made a lot of noise.

The Murray is a nice hotel with so much potential. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The only negative report was that the room could have been more thoroughly cleaned. There were a few issues in the bathroom that required more attention, the sink drain and around the toilet seat. The bedding was older but clean. The continental breakfast was good with a good variety of options. The location was great close to shops and restaurants. My only recommendation is some extra effort from the cleaning staff.
