Deming Vacations from $212

The first room I was provided could not be secured when leaving the room. The lock would secure when leaving and a slight push would open the door. The second room I was provided was across the hall. It was never updated in the system and someone walked in on me while I was on a conference call. I called them to the front desk only to be yelled and although she was present when I was provided the new key she told me she didn’t know who I was why I was in the room and I needed to come down and show my ID immediately. I explained that I was working on a conference call she continued to yell. I went down and said my ID recorded in the room that I was in when I talk to you and you checked me in earlier. She stormed off in a huff and said that now my key was deactivated. I started to record the conversation because of her unprofessionalism and she called the police on me stating I did not have her permission to record. Permission is not required in Texas. When the cops arrived they agreed. I talked to the housekeeper and she said that they knew that there was an issue with that door and it was due to the weather. The other guy said it was a mistake and she’s really a nice lady. I replied, she called the cops on me! He said well you can’t record it’s a hotel policy and the manager is sick but will talk to you tomorrow and if you don’t delete the recording we’ll have issuesii. I left the hotel because I wasn’t going to be able to change rooms in the middle of the workday, lost money

There was no hot water, we let it run for about 30 minutes hoping it would get hot and it never did. We informed the front desk about it right away and again at check out and they stated there was hot water we just didn't run it ling enough. There was writing on all the walls, in the bathroom and on the window blinds. There was no smoke detector, there was mold in the corner of the shower. The carpet was filthy. We had originally planned to stay a week but left after the first night. It if right next to the freeway so it loud. The parking lot was narrow and hard to get into with a truck.

The floors had dirt and hair in the room and in all the hallways. The door to my room would not shut without slamming it and turning the handle down from the outside. It was almost impossible to latch from the inside. Very unsafe.
