The walls are so thin you can hear the people next door using the toilet. The furniture was not in good shape, the dresser drawer would not stay n place. The owner bragged that she was an interior designer. This fact is definitely not apparent in the mosh mash of decor. For her to be driving a Mazzerrati, one would think they could afford to put a box of Kleenex in the room, but there are none. Looks like the money is all spent on her car and not going back into her place of business. Breakfast consisted of some scrambled eggs and mixed fruit in a bowl that was it, we decided to go out for breakfast. The tub and shower area is definitely not for older folks. Unless you have really long legs, it’s difficult to step up out of the deep sunken tub to the floor. The tile gets really slick when it gets moisture on it and there are no rugs. This is not a place that we will be staying again. Spend your money wisely and go to a hotel. We only ate there in the first day. Bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept excellent both nights. Hostess & owner Robin is a gem with the best sense of humor. She was accommodating for all of my needs. Coffee and breakfast were superb. Sounds, sights, and the beautifully curated environment helped me recenter my soul. It was a much needed solo getaway. I was planning my next trip to Rose Hall on my drive home. Do yourself a favor and book more than one night. Thank you Robin, it was just what I needed. There was a caretaker there who very nicely took care of us and went out to buy us food. The place was oddly kept, in that some parts were fantastic, others felt unfinished. Overall, strange.
