Ibiza has four main nightlife hubs. Stay in Ibiza Town for a mix between upscale hotels and cute guesthouses set amid winding streets in Dalt Vila (Upper Town) or near Marina Botafoch. Find some of the biggest clubs here, including HEART and Pacha. Mid-range accommodations nearby in Bossa Beach have the benefit of being close to the sand. Come to party during the day at beach clubs such as Ushuaïa. Ibiza institution Amnesia is somewhat in the middle of the island near San Rafael, with nearby villas worth considering both for their proximity and seclusion. Hotels and clubs in San Antonio are renowned for being a little more raucous, although there are some cool resorts here.

Ibiza's beach hotels span the super-deluxe to the basic, some set near hidden coves and others on bar-lined party strips. There truly is something for everyone here. Bossa Beach has the widest range of places to stay and suits visitors looking for a lively atmosphere. There's a similar but more glamorous vibe at Las Salinas Beach, one of the island's best, on the southern coast. The pretty Cala Jondal Beach is popular with visiting superyachts, while non-millionaires can arrive by land. It's even possible to stay in Ibiza Town and have a beautiful sandy stretch on the doorstep of your accommodations. Talamanca Beach is just a short walk away from many of the most central places to stay.

For those in search of seclusion, accommodations near Cala d'en Serra or Benirras Beach on the island's northern coast are the perfect hideaway. In general, the island's interior and north are much quieter, with hotels and villas scattered across wider areas. Some of the best places to stay aren't along the beach but instead are isolated resorts, villas, hotels, and even an agroturismo. Reserving a room near Cala de Sant Vicent on the eastern coast is a good choice for relaxed watersports including paddleboarding and kayaking. On the western coast, Platja de Comte offers a popular afternoon escape from San Antonio, although it can get busy in peak season.
