“The room was clean and had usual amenities for tea, coffee and also some cookies. The manager was polite and to the point, though no warm repartee/ conversation. The breakfast ( full English) was exceptional. The room we had faced a fenced in green field site that looked as though it had been used to dump construction materials , plastic chairs and rubble.., The hotel has no control of that, and this was a minor distraction. We learned from local folks that the food here is very good, though……

“Stayed in a superior triple room which has plenty of space/storage and a fantastic view across Morecambe bay. Some of the fittings were a little tired but everything functioned as it should and was cleaned to a good standard. The staff are friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain where everything was for the breakfast buffet. Breakfast consists of a small selection of cereals, yoghurt and English breakfast items, as well as tea/coffee, bread for toasting and individually wrapped……

“The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. So for me, it was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't use it to stay and spend time there though as there never seemed to be anyone on the reception or at the bar (which I only visited once) but someone……

“We love the breakfast freshly cooked from the menu, there’s continental from the buffet as well. Apparently need to do some improvements with the room conditions. The housekeeper didn’t get the rubbish from the bin inside the toilet for 2 days. Hotel located opposite to the sea with beautiful views. Free parking along the road after 6pm until 9am. There is public parking available around. On the average ok for the stay, spacious room.”
