"We spent a week with our family and the cabin was absolutely perfect! The weather was not the greatest lots of rain and storms, but we made the most of it. Caught plenty of fish right from the dock and also from our boat. Enough fish for two fish fry’s for 6 people. Skied, tubed and kayaked in between the rain. The view and water frontage can not be beat! The kids loved having their own space in the bunkhouse. Peggy was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing I would change for next time is better weather. lol. It definitely is a little slice of heaven! We would definitely book again."

"We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry firewood, kindling, and coals from their own fire so that we could enjoy a fire with our kids to have s’mores. Staying here has put a strong desire in me to buy our own cabin someday with similar esthetics. Until that day - we will continue to book here in the future! So thankful for the hospitality! "

"Awesome week stay for our family, communication was excellent, cabin was well stocked and clean… beds were comfy, plenty of room and activities provided for the kids, plenty of fun for everyone, would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."
