“This property was an excellent option for our family. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner was very accommodating as we wanted to make corn on the cob one night and he had a brand new large pot brought to us. It was a great central location as we took day trips to Hammondsport, Penn Yan, Watkins Glen and Geneva. One family took a day trip to Ithaca.”

“The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day.”

“The farmhouse is exactly as pictured and described- it's cute, it has charm, it has creaky floors! If you're a light sleeper, be aware you'll hear the floors! I would suggest bringing a child gate or two for the stairs or a bedroom for younger kids. Ann, the owner, makes check-in super easy. The street is quiet and peaceful. “Perfect for trip, close to wineries and a short drive to Watkins Glen. Check in was easy. We were greeted in person by the host and he showed us around and introduced us to Barney, the cat. Mark gave us a very good tour of his wine making facility and we were able to taste the wine. A great learning experience that you don’t normally get. “Beautiful property with exquisite view of the lake and a large backyard to relax and play games. Host was easy to work with for any questions. House is unique - was fun to take walks and see other properties in the area as well. 10 of us stayed and there was plenty of room. Only negatives (small) were that the kitchen was not huge and cupboard/refrigerator space for food was limited.
