“We planned to stay for only 1 night - but after the warm reception and the incredible meal we decided to stay an extra night. The building has been tastefully renovated - keeping its 400 year old charm while offering rhe modern comforts of stong water pressure, air conditioner and a lift! Definitely not a given even in 4 star accomodation in some of these smaller towns. The hotel owners make you feel like family - so lovely and hospitable. “The view from the terrace (in our room) was absolutely amazing! Location is perfect, parking was right there and very convenient. The staff was so helpful, when we had to leave early in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast, they packed it so that we could take it with us! And the breakfast was excellent too! “Incredible location and view from room. So easy to walk into streets and harbour area. Parking isn’t easy, but only a walk down to the port road. Suggested that you don’t attempt to take a car to the door, extremely narrow and cul de sac. Getaria is just wonderful and staying here a special memory.”
