“Aunty Arenal was a purrrfect little oasis close to the strip in La Fortuna, but far away enough that it was a quiet little sanctuary. Also centrally located as all the activities I had planned were all in different locations!! (Unknowingly, this was so convenient!) I had an early morning tour and they quickly whipped up a simple but delicious breakfast (rice & beans, delicious plaintain, toast, there was an option of eggs that I opted out on).
