STEPS TO THE BEACH AND GATED POOL! - Dog Friendly - Centrally Located

The Beachcomber II condo is centrally located at the heart of Jax Beach and comes with a private gated pool. It is near many restaurants and shops, some are within walking distance. The condo is on the third floor and there is no elevator. There are hardwood floors, stainless appliances, granite countertops, and a washer/dryer. The breakfast table and island provide ample seating. The condo has two bedrooms equipped with queen-sized beds and two baths, one with a soaker tub and the other with a full bath. The tub does not have working jets and is not a Jacuzzi. Our home has high-speed internet, perfect for streaming, teleworking, and distance learning. There are new smart TVs in the living room (with a soundbar) and main bedroom. The living room has a new sofa, armchair, and ottoman. A side balcony is available with an ocean view, and chairs are provided to enjoy the scenery. There is a lovely oceanfront park right next to the building. Furthermore, the beach, pool, and various local restaurants are just a short walk away.

Jacksonville Beach has many attractions, such as museums, a golf club, and a fishing pier. The Jacksonville Zoo is fun for all ages and has a wide variety of exhibits and beautiful gardens to walk through. Additionally, there are weekly events, including several music festivals. Stay in the heart of Jax Beach and experience it all!

Please keep in mind the following information:
- We only allow guests who are 27 years old or older. Mixed family groups are permitted.
- Guests are required to sign a rental agreement with Coastal Wave Properties and list the names and ages of the other guests in the group.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance to ensure you're protected during your stay, especially during hurricane season.
- We use a booking system called OwnerRez, and all communication regarding your booking will be sent through this system. Important information, such as the lease agreement and guest instructions, will be communicated via email. Please provide an email address that you can access and check regularly. Additionally, we will use text messaging to send you the door code and for any other necessary communication. Please make sure to provide a mobile phone number that you will have with you during your stay.
- If you're planning on bringing a small or medium-sized dog, please note that there is a non-refundable pet fee, and you'll need to sign a pet addendum.
- Damage protection is included with this rental, but guests are responsible for damages that exceed the policy.
- A $200 credit card hold is required as a security deposit. This amount will be held in case of any damages; otherwise, there will be no charges to your credit card. You will be notified if there are any deductions. The hold will be released 5 days after your departure.

Perfect for a vacation on the beach!

Very pleasant stay

The property was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and the pool. The property management was very easy to get in touch with. This was a great place for a long weekend visiting family and enjoying the sunshine.

Jax Beach Condo

Overall everything was wonderful. The unit was dated but efficient. The location was fabulous as it was walking distance to many restaurants. There was a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room window. We had a wonderful weekend!

Viking football trip

We had a very nice time, it was easy to find and it was wonderful being that close to the ocean. It was just perfect for our trip. On our last morning though, workmen started construction/ repair work on our unit at about 8 am.

I recently stayed at the Beachcomber, and it was absolutely fantastic! The property itself is clean,with dishwasher, washer and dryer including starter supplies for stay (garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, washer tabs)It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful and scenic environment. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals with fresh local ingredients. There’s also a private path that leads directly to the beach, which was perfect for early morning walks or evening strolls.The hosts were incredibly attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, but also respecting our privacy.

Great location

The condo was comfortable. And in a great location. The only negative would be they could use one more chair in the TV room and perhaps some more drinkware in the cupboards overall though, very good experience. Responded to inquiries immediately.

Great location stay

We loved the location. We could drive quickly to the grocery store and we were able to walk to many resteraunts for lunch and dinner. The unit was very clean and had plenty of room and the needed necessities. Easy access to the beach and park.The weather wasn't the best but we made the best of it and had a great time.

Great getaway

Really relaxing. 5 stars. Clean and easy check in. No elevator. If that’s an issue then don’t book here. 2 covered parking spots. Short stroll to beachfront.

All was great. Good location to beach and amenities. The only thing I would advertise is that one of the baths, though full only has a tub is guests are aware only one shower. If it was in listing, I missed it. Wasn't a big deal. Otherwise all was perfect.

Convenient to the beach

The amenities listed two bath with showers. In fact there was only one bath with shower, hall bath. The master bath was a jetted tub. It looked like a ‘Vegas honeymoon’ tub. It was very inconvenient with 4 adults and an infant. Also there were no bath cloths only two bath towels per bath. There should be a bath towel and wash cloth for each occupant.

Great Value right on the beach

The condo was spacious compared to other condos on the beach in this area. The balcony has a partial view of the ocean but is very private. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pots were all high quality stainless steel and there were plenty of fry pans for us to cook all the fresh seafood we purchased at Safeharbor seafood market. The pool was clean. You do have to climb 3 flights of stairs but that was not a problem for us. The unit was quite and we never heard any noise coming from other units once inside the condo. I hope to return.

Jax Beach get away

The location is great. The parking is very tight. The space within the covered parking is under some piping that dripped some sort of liquid on our vehicle that did not wash off. Going to try to buff and wax it off but uet to be determined if it is permanent. The flooring around the washing machine is broken up so had to have our little stay way from the area to insure no cut feet. The property was clean, pool well kept and path to beach was easy to manage. Overall, a good trip just needs some attention to details.

Several disappointing issues. Mainly the smell was bad inside. Also very bad outside due to sewer constuction. Not worth my time to write the rest of the issues.

Poorly Managed and poorly kept property

Extremely outdated. Linens were old and gross and not enough of them. Cracks in walls and ceilings. Woke up one morning covered in bites. Forgot to sign lease agreement sent a week before stay and was never reminded. The rental was going to charge me for the stay and never mention that I had additional paperwork to sign and never sent me access instructions. Construction work going on outside so constant noise and had to drive on dirt road to access the building.

Stay was ok

There were a few things that were very surprising and uncomfortable for us. First was the fact it was the last email that was sent to let me the final payment had been taken, that I noticed we didn’t have an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. I’m not good with stairs at all, so I really didn’t come and go as much as I was aware I would have to go up the stairs to get back to our room. 2nd was there was no door on the bathroom in the main bedroom. This made for very uncomfortable for all of us! In conclusion we did enjoy our stay, the pool was clean and beautiful and the location of the condo was perfect for us. Thank you so much for the,opportunity to stay on your property.
