We really enjoyed our stay at The Scotsman Edinburgh. The staff were warm and helpful. The bathrooms were newly updated, which was great, but there were a few maintenance issues that held the stay back from being a full 5 stars.
The shower fixture kept coming off the wall whenever the water pressure was on, and there were several large brown stains on the carpets, which made the room feel a little less luxurious than expected.
Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with great service, and with a few maintenance improvements, it could easily be a perfect 5/5.

The apartment is very small and a bit far from the center, you need a car or a bus to reach it. The hall is narrow and the bathroom is small, one bedroom is small and barely fits a double bed. There is a hanging bed but it is not equipped and the ladder is broken. The apartment is clean and the kitchen is good but the sheets are worn out. The apartment only fits two people, contrary to what is written that it fits four, but there is no sofa bed, even just a sofa in the hall
