Perfect location to explore Edinburgh, especially The Royal Mile and cross streets. Clean, comfortable, lots of restaurants and shops and sites to explore. Closer to Holyrood Palace end of RM, so a bit quieter in the evening than closer to Edinburgh Castle area. Only downside is it's quite small if you have more than two people, with only one comfy piece of furniture in the sitting area; we were a group of three adults, and the living room sofa served as a bed for one.

The hotel's location is just away enough from all the hustle and noise of the Royal Mile, but also close enough of a walk that you're there in less than minutes. You can be in the action or at a distance, if you want. For two people, a double studio room is fine. It can feel a bit tight with two big pieces of luggage, but it's fine. The check-in time was later than other places we stayed at, but they do have a room to leave luggage (though it's quite small). We didn't have an iron or ironing board in our room, which was a bit of an inconvenience, but the reception did make efforts to try and help us. The room could get warm at times even with the AC full on, but eventually cooled down to a good temp. Again, it was a good stay and we would likely consider staying here again if the price is right!

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, pero el servicio no lo es, tuvimos un problema con el aire acondicionado porque lo tenían bloqueado a 20 grados, la habitación estaba caliente y dijeron que no podían bajar, el lavabo del baño estaba obstruido, la persona de la recepción Puede desatascarlo pero no pudo, cuando salió del baño estaba sudando y le dijimos que ahora puedes ver que hace calor aquí, dijo que enviaría mantenimiento para el lavabo del baño, el aire acondicionado y el refrigerador que no funcionaban. No trabajo pero no quiero venir. Además, no tienen servicio de habitaciones ni limpieza, pasamos 5 noches, si necesitas toallas, eso es lo único que te ofrecen, tienes que conseguirlas tú mismo. Nos quedamos en la habitación del estudio. La cama no es una cama, es un sofá conectado a una cama.*

The location is excellent; right on the Royal Mile. Operated as apartment style hotel, it offers minimal services (you pay for room services and clean towels etc during your stay). We stayed in the studio so needless to say it is small but well equipped with kitchen wares in the kitchenette. However the bathroom sink is so small and shallow so when you turn on the tap to get the hot water, it would overflow literally to the floor. When we first got in the room, there were hairs on the pillow cases which was huge turnoff! It made you wonder whether the room was clean!

Large comfortable rooms with adjustable temperature settings. Hotel is located on the Royal Mile so just a few steps from everything. Staff extremely helpful, calling several taxis for us throughout our trip.

Upon checking in they kept saying we were not in their system and they weren't sure if a room was available. We came in a day late because of flight cancellation. We called over 20 times nobody picked up the phone, Expedia said same thing to us. Horrible front desk experience. . Bed was a rock hard Murphy bed, Just a poorly put together room.

Near the Royal Mile but quiet. Bus station and train station less than 10 min walking . A lot of restaurants and shops around. Activities for soccer game ( Scotland vs others) at the property. Frozen meal in the lobby in case of emergency....There is no cleaning each day included but available for a small price.
