“Beautiful cabin with just a few minor hiccups!We had a wonderful stay at this very nice cabin! The location was fantastic, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. One of the highlights of our trip was getting to sit outside and relax in the hot tub.The only reasons I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 were a few minor maintenance and supply issues. “Nice home, convenient to Banner Elk, Beech and Sugar Mountains. Came to town for a wedding so really didn’t spend a ton of time at the cabin outside of sleeping but all was fine.”

“Great views from the top of Sugar Mountain! We came for the Highland Games and it was a perfect location. Not to mention the temperature which was 20* cooler than where we live. Will definitely be back!”

“Expedia did not inform me that the hotel was under construction. The view from my room was of several piles of dirt and the whole area being dug up for a pool. I was not informed that there was no pool available and no breakfast room because that was also under construction. There were plenty of rooms available on the other side to put me instead of putting me with the piles of dirt. There are no microwave in the rooms at all anymore. I will say the room was very clean and very comfortable. I……

“We really enjoyed our time here. It was wet and rainy so the fireplace was perfect to sit and read. Bed was comfortable ,shower was hot and the house was clean. Well decorated, too. We enjoyed wine on the screened in back porch. There is a nice park across the street with walking paths and a dog park.”
