“Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. ”

“This cabin shows all the signs of being well loved. Everything guests could need has been anticipated, from a tea kettle to toilet paper. Comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean describes the place. Our dog even loved the lion statues out front. Last winter was especially hard on our family. We had to cancel once due to health problems, and the owner graciously helped us rearrange our plans. The opportunity to enjoy some quiet time in a charming cabin was just what we needed.”

“This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!”

“Lovely home. Main concern was the hot tub was slimy and home had deferred maintenance. But, the beds were comfy, the home was spacious and nicely decorated.”

“Very nice cabin. Hot tub was great. Yes there is traffic but inside or in hot tub you don’t notice it. We saw deer on the hill in back yard. Easy to get to everything. We will definitely be back.”

“Overall, the property is as advertised with a great view and amenities. The rooms and are large and plenty of spaces and TV. Location is great, very close to the Watauga River Park and original Mast General Store with a short 15 min drive to Boone. Communication with the host was quick and consistent. We reported a couple issues that were present upon arrival and the host offered to have them fixed during our stay: 1) screen on the patio door was coming out of its frame 2) and patio fire pit...
