“Pay for what you get! The rate for the room was not very much, so I cannot complain too much. Staff was very unhelpful, room was mostly clean, and there were people partying outside the room. So ~ is what it is”

“If you’re staying here, it’s strictly for the location. Check in was easy and done through an app. It’s very quiet, but the AC wasn’t working very well. We woke up sweating even though it was set at 61 degrees. There are no amenities, no ice machine or water refill station. They didn’t include the Wi-Fi password in the information sheet. It’s hard to watch TV from where it’s mounted. I wouldn’t stay here again.”

“The parking lot was packed, I had to walk far with bags and then walk back out to car to put a paper parking pass on the dash. This was a bit antiquated. The room smelled like mildew as soon as I opened the door, and the remote for the TV was sticky and felt gross. I would not stay there again.”

“I am 6’4”. I used to travel 120 nights a year all over. This was the smallest room(including cruise cabins) I have ever been in. I would have complained but I was in one and of my favorite towns and just went with it. The tv was on the left wall to a forward facing bed and it was so uncomfortable trying to watch I turned it off and played on my phone. I checked and my bathroom and wife’s closet are bigger than the room. Buyer beware and all but that room was ridiculous and uncomfortable. And……

“This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside……
