Our apartment was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our week there. Would highly recommend staying at the Wooden Villa, especially for a longer stay. "

"Just a walk through parks to the old town on an upscale street. Lido’s around provide inexpensive food options with authentic Latvian foods. The buffet breakfast is nice but really could use more fresh fruits and salad options. Strawberries were in season but absent and a lack of nice salad options was a bit disappointing. As well fresh eggs rather than using powdered eggs for the scrambled eggs should be used at a 5 star hotel as well as other egg options. "

"Very convenient location for exploring Jūrmala on foot- just 1 minute from the main pedestrian street, and maybe 10 minutes to the beach. We booked a room with balcony and sauna, which was perfect - good size, balcony was huge, and the sauna was ideal for 1 or 2 people. Staff spoke English and were always really helpful. Parking cannot be reserved in advance, but we were told that there isn’t usually parking available mid-week, and it was easy to park when we arrived. Breakfast was buffet-style, and there was a good selection to choose from. "
