Lovely helpful and friendly staff, buffet had a lot of choice, the setting of the onsen is beautiful. The decor is a bit dated but clean.

The food is repeated every day for almost 4 days. Food qualities is bad condition is lousy no form of service. Food is really at the 4/10 rating. So sick of the food on the 2 nd day. They must know the truth.

Didnt expect this to be a good accomodation, coz there’s no communication at all. But the place is apot clean, its big, beds are a bit hard, only thing i would hope is for the toilet to be inside the main door. Other than that, i love this place

We traveled from Sapporo by rail and bus that took 4-5 hours to get to Sounkyo. Most visitors are in group tours or by cars getting there and seeing the attractions are not a problem. The cablecar ride up the mountain is a must.
