Better than expected

We loved this home in Kanab! Fabulous central location. Very roomy. We had plenty room for 10 of us. Comfy beds and every kitchen necessity you could think of. We very much enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!

Perfect location to walk around town

Large house, clean and not fancy. Comfortable beds. Generous parking. Lovely fenced back yard. Short walk to market, restaurants, ice cream. We'll be back!

Accessibility and Great Location

Great place for 1 of our party who could not handle stairs. Lots of room to spread out, play cards and get caught up on laundry. Walking distance to Wild Thyme, best dinners in Kanab! Nice shaded back patio for relaxing.

Great location and comfortable stay

This property served our group perfectly! There was plenty of sleeping space, two gathering areas, and having 3 bathrooms was awesome. The kitchen was stocked with the basics we needed. We were within driving distance of many great sites and activities. We were also able to walk to grocery stores, restaurants and fun shops. Being able to come back and relax in a home after a long day of activities was awesome. And we loved being able to have our dog with us on this trip.

Lovely Home and Great Location

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. Located within walking distance to a grocery store and a wonderful coffee shop with amazing coffee! So much space and privacy! Well equipped with everything we needed including ample towels and linens. Washer and dryer were great to have!

We enjoyed our stay at this property while visiting Zion. The location was convenient to the grocery store and restaurants. It was perfect for our family of 10. Plenty of.room for everyone to have space from hanging out in the den or sitting out front enjoying the evening. The host was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

My second time at this place and again it didn’t disappoint. The place was very homey, the host very helpful & easily reached via text. We enjoyed every place of the house, especially the backyard with the fire pit. Location was so centered that we were able to visit Zion, Page Arizona, and other cool places in Kanab. Will definitely stay here again when in Kanab. Thank you to the amazing host

Very convenient location

This house is very good location for sightseeing . We can go any places less than 100 miles. Very spacious house with close to markets & visitor centers. Very nice, friendly owner. I will recommend to my friends. Thank you again shannon & allen.

Cute home, great location

Wonderfully convient location. Within walking distance to dining and shipping. Many unique attractions nearby. Home worked out wonderfully for our larger group. Plenty of beds,baths and kitchen space for a larger group. Keep an eye on the toilets as the older plumbing struggled to keep up with a large group of youth.

Great home base

This property gave us a great home base for our family of 8 to experience this beautiful area. We had plenty of room to spread out and everything we needed. It was refreshing to have a basic supply of household needs instead of having to buy everything like extra toilet paper or dish soap. Great value and easy location. The house does show its age but that is easily outweighed by all the positives.

Loved it!

We spent Thanksgiving here and we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space for several of us to cook in at the same time. The bedrooms were large and the fenced backyard was great for the dog and kids! It's a perfect location for all the adventures of southern Utah and the Grand Canyon. Shannon is accommodating and quick to respond. We WILL be back! Thank you!

Nat'l Park Central

The property was very good, neat, clean and amply supplied. It is central to all of the parks and Kanab has a nice vibe, just don't expect any night life, everything closes early. The only suggestion is the shower/tub in the master bedroom should get fixed. Its marketed as having 3 full baths, but no one wanted to use the shower in the master, so it was really only 2. Otherwise I would reccomend this property.

Great location but house a little short on comforts

This house is in a great location - quick walk to town, the grocery store, shopping and restaurants. The backyard was really nice with a fenced in yard if you have a pet or a sleepover dog from Best Friends. The inside was roomy for a large group (we had 5). However, overall the house was not comfortable or inviting. The beds were TERRIBLE -- they were on wooden platforms which looked to be home-made. They were VERY uncomfortable. So much so that one person wound up sleeping on the couch and another in the "bunk-bed" room. The bunk-bed room had it's issues too -- the beds squeeked every time you moved and if you were sleeping on the bottom bunk and forgot it was a bunk-bed you hit your head on it every time. None of the bedrooms had any storage for clothes or a dresser for putting your things on so we had to live out of our suitcases for the whole week. The small bathroom off the kitchen had no outlet in it so no way to dry your hair. Overall the house could have been cleaner. The dishwasher was very old and wasn't very clean; same with the fridge. The ice maker on the refrigerator was also broken. This house would really be great if they did some upgrades and freshened up the paint inside. We won't stay there again the way it is now though.

Amazing place

I selfishly don’t want to leave a good of a review. Because I don’t want make it harder for us to book it next year. But the place is amazing. Very comfortable. Very cozy. The location is phenomenal for visiting Kanab. It’s great location to the Grand Canyon to the hikes and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

Annual greyhound get together

This is our second time staying at this home - there are 8 adults and we are with our greyhounds for the annual Sighthound Shivoo that is held in Kanab. The house is perfect. Great yard for the dogs and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone with all the comforts of home. Shannon is very responsive if we have questions and so easy to get hold of. So much better than a hotel!!!
