Awesome staff with great communication. Quiet area in Kyoto and about 11 min walk to the station. Kitchen and washer/dryer were convenient and easy to use. Shower was also great with good water pressure.

Great location, 8-9 minute walk to Daikokucho or 13-15 minute walk to Namba station. 8 minute walk to Namba Park Gardens.
If you have no issues walking, this is a great place to stay. AC, washer/dryer appliance and polite staff. Washer dryer is small so be mindful of how much clothes you put it.

We stayed at NOHGA Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto for four nights, and it was an excellent base for our time in the city. The hotel has a modern, thoughtful atmosphere, while the location puts you close to Kiyomizu-dera, Gion and the historic streets of Higashiyama. We loved being able to start sightseeing early and return easily after long days exploring Kyoto on foot.
The hotel also received our forwarded luggage without any issues and made the next hotel-to-hotel shipment straightforward, which was especially valuable during a multi-city trip. NOHGA offered exactly the mix of character, convenience and calm that we wanted in Kyoto. We would readily recommend it, particularly to first-time visitors who want to stay near the city’s most atmospheric neighborhoods rather than around Kyoto Station.

My stay at Kyoto Century Hotel was, without a doubt, one of the most wonderful hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with unmatched warmth, respect, and a level of personalized service that truly touched my heart.
What stood out the most was their incredible attention to detail. Every time we needed a taxi, the staff didn't just call one for us—they personally accompanied us outside to the vehicle, verified with the driver that our destination and address were completely clear, and made sure we were 100% comfortable before seeing us off. I have never felt so genuinely cared for at a hotel.
Additionally, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a rich variety of delicious options to start the day. The location couldn't be better: just a short, very easy walk from Kyoto Station, making logistics completely seamless.
The entire team makes everyone feel equally valued and welcomed. I would return to Kyoto Century Hotel in a heartbeat without hesitation. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
