It is a charming inn with very lovely staff & family attending the guests. I highly recommend staying here if you appreciate history & charm! The building was built in 1788 I believe they said. We stayed inPikes Suite and were comfortable and happy. Yes, the beautiful old floors creak, but it’s all part of the charm of this lovely still family owned hideaway! I hope to return again!

Liked: Staff & service
The staff was great, really kind and accommodating. The hotel was clean but not sparkling. It wasn’t dirty. It is definitely an older hotel that could use a makeover but it was reasonably priced safe and clean. I would stay here again if I was looking for an affordable clean option.

Breakfast offered a lot of good choices from eggs to cereal to fresh fruit. The room was clean throughout and the AC quiet and efficient. The staff was excellent in providing information and Dillan's recommendation for dinner was "spot on". The room price was very reasonable, and the indoor heated pool provide a relaxing afternoon.

Great place to stay while visiting Keene. This hotel is close to all the amenities Keene has to offer. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel looks as though it’s been recently updated. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The staff was kind. Dillion was eager to help with anything we needed. We will definitely return to Elm City Hotel when we travel back to Keene, Nh.

We were not happy. The shades were see-through and an outside light kept us awake. The breakfast was poor. The property looks worn down from the outside as you arrive, the room was depressing. Considering what we paid, not good. I did appreciate being able to have my dog with me and nearby places to briefly walk her.
