“If you're looking for a change of atmosphere from other hotels, try Aelia. It's a relaxing and serene atmosphere that seems perfect for getting reading done, writing a book, or just chilling. “Second time in this place in a span of 13 months and nothing has changed. It has the feel of a hotel that was once built to impress, but has had minimal investment. Loads of cosmetic defects in the room, poor drainage, poor air conditioning, bathrooms a bit dingy, very old TV, smelly carpets in the hallway, etc, etc. The breakfast buffet is acceptable, but minimal (think Premier Inn) with much of the hot food looking like it was cooked the day before. “The staff were amazing - very attentive - particularly at breakfast. Excellent breakfast choices, including non-dairy and gluten free options. The pool and the gym were very quiet - never crowded. 30 minutes walk to Finikoudes beach and great restaurants but the pool and restaurant, cafe and pool bar at the hotel were also great options. Watching the sunset from the bar on the 16th floor was beautiful.”
