"It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under going major building works on the front reception and dining area. The breakfast while a buffet was ok but they were no options to purchase omelettes or fried eggs. The sausages were only chicken sausages. The bar was a temporary structure, not somewhere I would sit and relax after a day out. It was ok if you drink spirits no beer on tap and limited bottled beer. The service staff managed very well considering what they are working with."
"The room was not clean. There was a used plaster/ bandaid stuck to the wall inside my closet. The cleaning staff are scheduled to come at 3pm and are not accommodating around your schedule. The reception staff are unhelpful and rude."
"If you're visiting Queenstown, this is absolutely the best location. It is an easy walk to all the best restaurants and attractions. And the Thrifty car hire is right across the street. We stayed for a week. We hired a car for the last three days to do some day trips. We found overnight car parking on the street but you have to pay after 9am.
Some of the hotel's facilities need some work. In the laundry, 3 of the 6 machines were out of order. And the spa was out of action. We went to the outdoor hot pools up by the gondola.
We would definitely stay here next time if we come to Queenstown again."
"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is close enough to the town centre and an easy walk. There are many different accommodation buildings spread over a large property, giving a spacious holiday park feel. Facilities are old but everything worked, including the heater."
"Location was great and loved the boutique styling of the hotel. The room was great but the bathroom was obviously for a disable person with rails, higher toilet, seat in the shower and it felt like a different room and style to the rest of the room/hotel.
There was some construction going in front where you look out to the view of the lake as well."
