Our newly furnished luxurious one bedroom fifth floor condo on Sugar Beach features a full kitchen, large master bedroom with a California king size bed and study. The living room features gorgeous ocean front views. Enjoy whale watching from your private lanai during the winter months (Dec-May) when these amazing creatures are around the islands. The bathroom features a tiled shower with tub and granite vanity. Remodeled kitchen has everything a cook would need. Beautiful tiled floors throughout.

About South Maui

You can't get closer to the water. The Kealia Resort offers the ideal location on Maui. Located on Sugar Beach, one of Maui's longest beaches, you will find the Kealia Resort, on the North side of Kihei. This dry and sunny side of the island enjoys nearly 360 days a year of warm, sunny weather.

The Kealia Resort is convenient! Only a 15 minute drive from the airport, easy access to the West Side and Wailea. The resorts of North Kihei (Kealia, Sugar Beach, etc) are quieter and less traffic congested than the hustle and bustle of South Kihei or Ka'anapail. Stay out of the tourist traps!

The South side of Maui, where the Kealia Resort is located, is home to numerous beach parks and some of the world's finest beaches. Maui continues to win travel awards as a top-rated island destination - because of these sparkling beaches.

The Kealia Resort is located on a beautiful 6 Mile Stretch Of Sandy Beach – perfect for an invigorating morning walk, or leisurely day of beachcombing. Inland from the beach and immediately adjacent is the Kealia Wildlife Refuge. A huge open space dedicated to preserving inland and shoreline bird habitats.

Maalaea Harbor is only 7-8 minutes to the west. This quaint harbor village is home to the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, along with roughly two dozen shops and some of Maui's finest restaurants.

You'll find many exciting ocean activities departing from the village harbor, including snorkeling trips, scuba diving, sunset and dinner cruises, sport fishing, and whale watching (Dec-May). Of course, you can watch the whales from the lanai of your own beachfront vacation rental if you so choose!

Bustling Kihei town is just to the south. Shops, restaurants, and a few larger supermarkets (Safeway, Times and Foodland) are only five minutes away.

Another 10 minutes and you've reached the exclusive Wailea Resort, boasting some of the island's most expensive resort hotels and private estates. Wailea features 4 championship 18 hole golf courses, plus more exceptional shopping and fine dining.

Epic Stay

Would highly recommend this little gem. Everything about the condo was perfect and the owner was extremely responsive. It’s a perfect place if you want to be in a quiet location. The view was spectacular, we watched the sunset from our lanai and saw several whales. My husband and I can’t wait to book this again next year.

Wonderful Condo!

March 6-20, 2025. Wonderful condo. Thank you! We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the great views of the moon before dawn. (We are still 3 hours ahead due to Daylight Saving Time in Spokane, WA!) Perfect Condo in Paradise

This was an excellent place to stay. We started each morning with coffee on the deck while listening to the crashing waves. After that, most mornings also included a walk on the beach. The condo is a perfect size for two, David is an excellent host and communicator. The location was quieter than some areas we visited which is what we look for. Great beaches, shopping, restaurants and food trucks all within a couple minutes of the condo. We really appreciated all the amenities and the beach chairs were so comfortable. We will definitely be returning to Maui in the future and we hope to be able to stay here again.

Best place to stay .

Good location . Close to all shops and restaurants .Nice and clean . Full Kitchen and amenities. Good for single family . Bring the eyes mask if you’re not an early morning person. The slide door and screen door need to fix it or make it easy to close because it is off the rail when you try to close it all the time. We will stay with David condo again.

What a View!!

The oceanfront views of this condo are amazing! Gorgeous palm trees line the beach, and the unit is literally steps away from a very calm and swimmable beach. The entire property is well maintained with lawn chairs available to use beachside. It was very quiet during our stay and not a lot of people on the beach which we loved. We stayed during whale season and were able to catch glimpses of flukes in the distance. David was a pleasure to work with; he was quick to respond and offered us some great recommendations. The unit is on the smaller side and is great for two people max. The views and sound of the waves breaking on the beach were so soothing, and sitting on the lanai for breakfast or a drink was the best!!

Beautiful view and Central location

The complex is showing its age. Unit #502 is furnished nicely, tiled throughout all the way to balcony & granite countertops. Unfortunately it is not being cleaned throughly and it shows. There was a prominent mildew smell in living room and kitchen area. All the towels smelled like mildew. Reported the issue to owner and he sent housekeeping back up and she showed up with a dirty mop and while she mopped the floor it did not help. Had to wash our feet before we could get in bed they were so filthy from walking on the floor. She rewashed towels and that didn't help either. Owner refunded cleaning fees. Left him a message after housekeeping showed up with dirty mop and he never returned our call. I cannot recommend this place nor would I stay there again. It was also very noisy.

Glorious place, very responsive host

Pros: David is an excellent host. He was very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was perfect for us. Sugar Beach is long and great for walking. The condo was low key, clean, and well kept. The bed was excellently comfortable (new, not too firm, not too soft). The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for cooking. The lanai was blocked from the winds and lovely to sit and drink coffee and have breakfast. It is well located on the island for exploring West Maui, upcountry, and Hana. TONS of great restaurants and grocery stores nearby (thanks for the recommendations David!). There are beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, a boogie board and even coolers. A new washer and dryer came in useful! The grounds and pool are well kept with a lovely lawn to lay on. Just a few cons to be honest: The air conditioning window units are loud and right by the bed (not a problem if you want to sleep with the windows open instead) but something to consider if you're a light sleeper. The parking space was tight (we had a mid sized SUV). The condo itself is on the smaller side (worked well for just my husband and I). The water off of Sugar Beach was not the crystal clear Maui water that we'd expected, more of a cloudy brown, but we loved walking the long stretches of gorgeous sand and had fun exploring the many nearby beaches. That being said, we really enjoyed our time and would recommend David and this condo for those looking for a splendid stay on Maui!

Gorgeous view!

It was an amazing week. The condo was clean. All the beach needs are provided . Super close to the most perfect beach. We couldn't have asked for a better week! We never were able to officially check in. It was a holiday weekend and could never catch the manager in, but we had communicated with David and let him know. Other than that everything went very smooth. Every time you walk in the condo and see that amazing view it just takes your breath away! Absolutely incredible!

The parking spot too tight small car recommended and the last night our stay it was a trash day I guess because they put a trash bags and trash barrels on our parking spot.We had to park on someone else spot next to us.Good thing its no body park there since we got there and plus its our last night.The condo has everything you need.Clean and good location.The

25th Anniversary

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful condo in Maui and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The condo was not only stunning, but it was also immaculately clean and well-maintained. The views from the condo were absolutely breathtaking, and I loved being able to wake up to the sight of the sparkling ocean every morning. The location of the condo was also perfect - it was close to all the attractions and amenities in Maui, yet still provided a peaceful and tranquil retreat. The staff at the condo were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Maui. It exceeded all of my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another visit.

Great location right on the beach!

We enjoyed our stay, the beach and pool were great. Walk to a farmers market. The unit had everything we needed and we were happy to have a cooler and beach chairs to use. Great sunset views from the balcony.

Amazing oceanfront condo with amazing views. Sunsets were truly breath taking. We also were fortunate to see the whales frolic right out front of the complex. Older condo complex but well maintained. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Property...

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful condo on Kihei. The condo is conveniently located on 5th floor. We had numerous opportunities each day to watch whale in the distance and fabulous sunsets for the balcony. From the beginning to end of our 5-night stay, David (owner) was great to work with. This condo was very welcoming with all the amenities from home...including comfy bedding. We would highly recommend this condo! If/when we return to Kihei, we would definitely stay here again...

Great location and views.

We had a great 8 day stay in the condo. It is right on the beach with great sunset views. Close to Kihei and Wailea where there are lots of great restaurants and additional beaches to check out. Very close to Maalea where the excursion boats leave from (because Lahaina harbor was closed due to the fire). Check in was easy. Condo was clean and well appointed. Really appreciate the beach towels, chairs, umbrella and coolers. Underground parking for our rental, nice pool area and outdoor chairs. Really enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with the view. Would recommend a dish drying rack and trash can for the bedroom. Wonderful stay-Mahalo!
