"Breakfast was fantastic, fresh top ups constantly from the savory stuff to the sweet pastries never any dull dry or stale food. Staff were helpful too, one guy serving me kept calling me “sir” which wasn’t necessary but very pleasant. "

"Car park on site was a huge bonus for us as we had 2 cars between our party.The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The property was convenient for the Luas into town, and the bar opened late for guests which was nice.Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and the soda bread was gorgeous. The bathrooms were a bit dated and need a little talc but bedrooms were modern with very comfortable beds."

"Incredibly beautiful castle, grounds and room. Highly advise a castle bedroom if you can! Very clean, comfortable and huge. Biggest drawback was limited dining options during the week-same menu for lunch and dinner that gets boring pretty fast. Breakfast was tasty and lots of options all included. Close to Dublin- we didn’t have a car but 45 minutes by train and then 10 minute taxi made it easy (except book taxi ahead as Athy is pretty small). Worthwhile for the luxury to stay in a castle!"
