“I booked a family room and the photo showed there is a camping for children inside the room. But there is nothing provided during the actual visit.”

“There has been a lot of investment in the hotel over the years & most of it very effectively invested. As in so many hotels we found the continuing use of a heavy duvet in a warm summer something that we cannot understand. I spoiled our stay. Too hot to use & too cold to do without. We find the same problem in so many hotels. It shows little regard for the customer as management must surely know that "one size does NOT fit all" when it comes to the seasonal changes in night time……

The Firecastle Market next door is, I presume, owned by the same people. They were so gracious and helpful. Let me store my bags in their tiny office so I could continue to explore. Truly wonderful hospitality all the way around no matter what your reason for visiting Kildare.”

“Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste.”
