"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area. The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained. Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was so helpful, knew exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. The room was quant but nice, the food was fantastic and the view from our room was awesome!"

"Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views from cabin. Sauna was fabulous after a long day with variable weather conditions. You can book them in advance and have your privacy. Tea, coffee, hot pot refrigerator in rooms a big convenience. Bathrooms are modern, with in floor heating and towel warmers. Beds are comfy and linens are top notch. Breakfast included was delicious. Dinner was very good. Cons: There can be a bit of a hike to the cabin up hill. Don’t let that stop you this place is fantastic. But after a long day of hiking and rain it can be tough!! They will bring up your luggage just not you. Staff overall is very good but a few of the waiters and bartender it were odd to communicate with."

"Breakfast is included in your stay and they have a menu for you to choose from. I highly recommend the porridge and egg muffin sandwich!!! The staff is phenomenal and they do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable. The sauna was amazing after a long hike in the cold pouring rain. Dinner was out of this world! The chef is top notch! If we comeback to visit Scotland we definitely will be staying there."
