It was an interesting place to stay. It’s a listed property that is being renovated as allowed. We had a good sized bedroom but with noisy floors in the bathroom as well not too keen on electric showers but eventually got water at the right temp.
Breakfast started off being a challenge as there was nothing we wanted but we had a conversation and someone went shopping so all was well for the three days we were there.
The hotel must have been a really grand building as a lot of the original features exist still . The dining room has recently been decorated and is a very pleasant place to be. We only ate there once and the food was enjoyable.
Parking available on site and across the road the ferry to Gurock so very convenient. Close to Benmore botanic garden which is great and about 50 mins from the castle of the Dukes of Argyll well with visits

Nice hotel but needs some renovation within the rooms. The ironing board was so old it collapsed on me, and the new one I ordered from reception didnt have a protective cover on it. Not ok for an establishment of this rating.

Great view great location and new
"The location is great in Uig and have a great view of the harbour . Its worth for the price. Check in at the Uig hotel just nearby, very close. However the dinner of the restaurant of the Uig hotel is not good. Not recommended to have meals there."
