"I will NOT be using Expedia for further travel; due to the experience we had at this property. This property made it VERY clear that Expedia does not do any on-site Vetting, and if they do, they sure missed this one. The room we had was dirty, the bed felt like it should have been replaced a decade ago, so that made the bed sheets, (that didn't seem to be the correct size) VERY susceptible to coming off, wallpaper was coming off the wall, desk chair leather was cracked and brittle (needed to be replaced), baseboard around the room had an extensive layer of dirt/dust on it, the bathroom baseboard was missing chunks at the bottom around the shower enclosure, hollow core room entry door was weathered and coming apart, roof overhang eves paint peeling off and rotting in many places, pool not operational. Did not see any (per previous review), but my wife told me that she honestly thought we would be seeing cockroaches when the lights were turned on in the middle of the night. OLD PROPERTY THAT HAS NOT BEEN PROPERLY MAINTAINED!!!!!"

"This property was truly spectacular. I chose it primarily for the views, and it exceeded my expectations. The daytime scenery was stunning, but the highlight was witnessing the full moon shimmering over Lake Tahoe—an experience I was fortunate to enjoy.The host was exceptionally gracious, providing detailed instructions for everything. It was evident that she invested considerable thought and time to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was a wealth of local literature and tourist information available.Another outstanding aspect was her preparation for our dog. The host provided dog bowls, beds, toys, and covers for the furniture and beds, making our furry friend feel at home. We felt very comfortable staying there with our dog, and she seemed equally at ease.I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Everything was lovely and served our groups needs well. The lake views were stunning,. I wouldn’t have minded more paper towels. Unfortunately we never found the bikes. The kayaks were there and in good condition but the beach access by the property is private which means you have to transport the kayaks on foot five minutes down the road by foot unless you have a truck that can haul them. We had a child with us so that wasn’t going to happen so we weren’t able to utilize that amenity(kayaks/bikes) and was big part of why I chose this property and agreed to the price as it was more than other near by bookings. The hot tub was clean and thoroughly enjoyed. There are many other properties surrounding the cabin so there’s not much in the way of privacy. All the same we didn’t see many people and the surrounding neighborhood was very pleasant and made for lovely evening walks. Over all we enjoyed our stay very much. The host was readily available a check I was a breeze. The beds were especially comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with utensils. We also appreciated the clean and well equipped bbq and the fire pit was treat in the evening."

"We stayed at this charming cottage for a week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved it. The kitchen, bed and bathroom were.all just right, and the view is spectacular and ever changing with the wind and weather..This place is on a quiet side street but within walking distance of shopping and several good restaurants.Book it, you'll love it!"
