"This hotel was great, private bathroom, bidet. Room was fine for single person. Breakfast buffet was good. Very nice location for great food and stations not far away. Only annoyance was the elevator traffic- this is a huge hotel 40 floors they split the elevator traffic between half the floors 6 elevators for each half top/bottom. Often waiting 5 or so minutes for elevator and squeezing together. "

"The hotel was nice, but clearly there are smoking rooms and you could smell it in the elevators. They are a bit scattered in the restaurant and do disclose allergens, but are sincerely put out if you have a gluten allergy. One employee went out of his way to help with this on our first lunch when there was only one option for me to eat from the whole menu and a large group had just come in before. The bright spot is the onsen and facilities on B1. Next level comfort and posh facilities for families to sit together and enjoy complimentary snacks in between soaks. For kids there are books, ice cream, drinks and cookies. There is also coffee and tea and a gyn with free weights, treadmills and some bosu balls. The check in and check out process could be better with the payment of the city tax just going on your bill and charged to the card you gave on file, but it wasn’t terrible. It’s a lovely property, and if you don’t mind the cigarette smoke smell in the elevators and can eat whatever you want, it’s awesome. "

"Toyoko Inn is very efficient in their processes. The staff work hard to be sure breakfast is replenished fully and in a time efficient manner with a variety of options for most palates. Rooms are what you would expect in Japan, small but has what you need for 2 people. Their system to store your bags is smart, you don't have to bother staff, self-serve. Good value, clean and meets your needs when traveling."
