L'Anse Vacation Packages
L'Anse isn't the only spot in Upper Peninsula worth exploring; avid travelers should set out to see the charms of the surrounding scenery, cities and cultural attractions. Houghton, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the south, and Hancock, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the south of L'Anse are worth a visit too.
Marquette, is another good spot to head to. It is 50 miles (80 kilometers) from L'Anse and offers a number of interesting things to see, including Marquette Harbor Light, Superior Dome and Marquette Maritime Museum. And don't head back to L'Anse until you've stopped by Marquette's Northern Michigan University and Presque Isle Park.
Upper Peninsula is a good destination for travelers interested in lighthouses.
Head outside and get amongst it in the area around L'Anse. Try ice skating or give hiking a go. Take your own equipment or rent it on the spot, and discover the region's water activities. Fishing is an option. Another good option is swimming.
