“I booked the hotel because I had an early morning flight. It offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport. The hotel is quite new (2-3 months?) and the shuttle was not set up yet. So I had to use a taxi which was not cheap.”

“The hotel is chasing, as in old charm. But beyond the charm, a reality come with it. It would need a lot of renovation, espacially with the bathroom. The shower in my room was a prefab shower module from the 80's. Completely run down, almost unusable, potentially dangerous as you could easily slide and fall in it. It may not be the case for all the rooms, but make sure to ask if the bathroom as been renovated! The staff was nice, and apolegatic about it. The owners need to do something about it.……

“The location is what sells this place. It is right across a small street from the amazing beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was basic and small, but the bed was fine. The pillows were lumpy (I am a bit of a Goldilocks about pillows, though) and the bathroom could do with some refreshing. It is fine for what you pay. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and it was pretty good. This isn’t a luxury place but it is very nice for the money. The drink tokens were a……

“With the balcony doors open and the birds chirping it felt like we were in the French countryside. On site parking was important to us as was the easy walk into the town centre.”

“Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Besitzerin war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig. Besonders praktisch ist die zentrale Lage direkt im Zentrum, außerdem gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Vielen Dank auch für den tollen Restaurant-Tipp. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.”

“No elevator and smells!! We booked this hotel as it was close to train station… across the street. While it looks like may be trying to remodel a little at a time, our room looked remodeled minus the carpet. It doesn’t make up for dirty worn carpet, narrow curved stairs, poop left on toilet seat and absolutely worst smelling room ever. Also there were rooms left open that were not occupied.. didn’t feel safe. Area around train station doesn’t feel very safe needed to stick to main roads.”
