“We had an amazing time! The cabin is gorgeous and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the lake and using the canoes! The water is so clear and was very refreshing. Mike was a great host and responded quickly when an issue arose so that it didn’t affect our stay. Would 1000% recommend and hope to one day be back!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great landing spot within quick driving distance of so many hiking trails, beaches, and waterfalls that we couldn’t find time to see them all! Also a quick drive to town where you can find anything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The yard was a nice place to relax around the fire at night and watch the stars. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely return. ”

“I wanted a trip to escape with my kiddos and be in nature!! This was exactly that. We enjoyed every minute and the best part was we were left alone. There was enough dishes for a family of 4. Theres a microwave, small toaster oven (I thought I could make puzza and you have to 4th the pizza to do so), there's a grilling grate, so we brought tin foil for burgers; super good. “The cabin was perfect for my silent retreat. Quiet and self-contained, but not isolated, and surrounded by beautiful trees, birds, and other creatures. Definitely recommend! ”

“Great little cabin in a fairly remote area. Access to Lake Superior South shore is about a 20 min hike on a nice trail. Amenities feel very similar to most commercial/county campsites. Plenty of parking. Keep in mind there is no AC on the cabin but there is heat. Fun little place to stay.”

“We had a great time at the lake house. The kids couldn't get enough of the lake and all the activities that came with it. The cabin was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and gadgets you would need to cook. They also had fishing poles and sand toys to use. Pack some DVDs. They had about a dozen to choose from there. The Wi-Fi can be hit or miss. But we were outside too much to notice. ”

We did not have any problems but I know if we did, he would have been right over to help! Lots of room to park, a plug in for your boats if needed!
