“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. “Lodge style accommodation. No A/C or ceiling fan, so the room was a bit stuffy for sleeping. Rear window screen was broken, so could only use the front and bathroom windows for ventilation. Room was clean, provided shampoo but no conditioner. Bed and pillows okay. Probably would not stay here again during warm months due to lack of a/c or ceiling fan.”
