The room was nice and view was beautiful but a difficult drive into town or any food for them to have 1 restaraunt staffed by one person with like 6 tables. Also called the front desk for extra pillows and received a bag of pillow cases. Took a while and extra calls to receive any extra pillows. Additionally, their delivery pizza option—we tried to call both nights and were placed on hold for 10+ minutes before giving up and door dashing. Also when walking in to ask where the lounge is, the manager hardly looked up to acknowledge us before pointing to the stairs. Pretty spot but felt like the service was lacking a bit for the “resort” style.

I liked that there was lots to do: pools, pickle ball, arcade, pool tables, tennis courts, and more. There is a shuttle from Stateline to Tahoe town, so that was pretty convenient. The rooms, however, are hot. No AC and windows cannot open sufficiently for cross breeze. There were portable swamp coolers and fans in each unit, which helped somewhat.

The Villa Suite I booked for Labor Day weekend was amazing. It had a king size bedroom with its own flat screen tv, the living room area had a comfortable L-Shape sofa with a flat screen tv along with an electric chimney, it also included a 6-person dining table that worked perfect for my family of 5. The kitchen was well set with all the amenities included from the smallest thing like a spoon, can-opener, cutting board, to the biggest thing like a toaster, blender, dishwasher, and of course a coffee maker. I rate it 8 of 10 only because we didn't really like the bathroom it was a bit smaller than expected along with bad lighting. The second bad thing was that we experienced a loud noise coming from a possible "pipeline" that didn't let us sleep the first night. Lastly, breakfast buffet its scheduled from 10am-12pm but they charge $30 per adult and $15 per child, I was a little surprised by that, so we skipped it.

I stayed in ridge point villa.Love the room, kitchen has all the utensils, pots and pans to cook, having washer and dryer in the room is convenient.Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The amazing view. I would love to try other rooms in next trip. Absolutely recommend everyone to stay at Holiday inn vacations club resort. Thank you Expedia and Holiday Inn team!

So,, you have to be careful where you stay at this resort. Give 4 to 5 stars if staying in main area. Once you go out to the outer buildings 2 stars. Really old and out dated in the outer buildings. Will try not to make the mistake again and ask which area will be staying. So main area is great, if you have to drive back out to main road then bad....

Room was clean, had a great view. What stood out was that it was equipped with a washer & dryer that we were happy to take advantage of. Its close proximity to the resort lift made this one something we hope to return to more often. Very happy with the entire stay!
