"Excellent hotel near the M6 junction. Hotel is clean and well maintained with a large car park. It looks like the hotel was recently refurbished. The room and ensuite bathroom was clean and well maintained. The leisure club has a good sized pool, spa pool and sauna. This is looks newly reburbished. "The hotel, the stay, the room and pretty much everything about our 2 nights there where very good the only thing that could be improved is the wifi speed and connection. Due to data signal in the area being very poor which is not controllable by the hotel i think an improvement on there wifi capabilities would compensate for this issue."

"This is our go-to hotel when want a few days away. It’s location is perfect for visits to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath and many of the other beautiful area’s around this hotel. The staff are really lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The food was really good and has a varied menu to suit all tastes. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The Spa is welcoming and relaxing. The pool is warm and has set times for children and never gets overcrowded as there’s a booking system. The gym has all the equipment you would ever need. All in all a great place to stay."

"Last minute weekend booking for 2 adults and 3 children (6,6,8). Arrived late to a prepared room, warm welcome and much needed cocktail. Room had a queen size bed in a separate area with sofa bed and single bed in the main area. Each area had a large TV, would of loved for these to be smart tv’s but didn’t affect us too much. Was a warm weekend but a fan was provided. Spacious, clean room. Amenities were great and included iron, wash basket etc + the usual tea, coffee and hot choc ( great selection). Breakfast was amazing and the coffee selection was brill. Bonus of 2 terraces which were beautiful and had a scenic view. Would of loved to of eaten there but unfortunately our schedule was packed! Can’t wait to return to spend some more time at the hotel. Given a travel lodge wasn’t too much cheaper I am blown away at how reasonably priced this was given the huge range of facilities, high quality spacious rooms and scenic location. This hotel also has a hair salon which would be great for those staying for an event (again reasonably priced). This hotel is a must for families who want a little bit of luxury in a child friendly place "

"Really quirky old building, rooms were good, clean and bed very comfortable, it is on the Main Street but that did not bother us and is excellent for Clark’s Village and shops with added bonus of car parking at rear. Would definitely come back."
