"Great hotel with spacious clean rooms, helpful friendly and welcoming staff. Tea and coffee, toiletries and towels in rooms. Well stocked bar and good menu for evening meals. Breakfast is a mix of continental and cooked and a good choice available. Parking on site is £6 but well worth it to have your vehicle in a safe, well lit space with cctv. I would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed 1 night at the hotel. Got to our room to find dirty socks and clothes by the bed. The staff need to check the rooms properly. Television channels work intermittently."

"Most of Hotel staff were lovely and helpfull. Breakfast wasn't included so payed night before £12.50 instead of £19 pp. Racing bar very nice but are food order was messed up and took about 44 min for my pizza to turn up. Lovely pool with steam room and sauna"

"Room was a great size. Bed was super comfortable. Clean and tidy room, would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Facilities were good, but needed a good clean in the sauna and changing rooms. Breakfast was great, big variety of foods. Staff were friendly, hard working and helpful."

"Overall we had a lovely stay. Only complaint was that we were cold in the evenings…it was less than 10° outside and the bar had air-conditioning on! We got really cold. The restaurant was also cold, so we only ate there the first night. The food was good, spoilt only by my poached eggs being cool the first day, and when I asked for them to be hot the second morning, they were only just warm! Otherwise a lovely breakfast. Shower very good, and plenty of hot water for baths to warm us up!"

"This property does not look much from the outside. However, one can’t judge a book by its cover. This property has been newly renovated. The staff are all exceptional and very helpful. The good is good. The amenities are great. A fabulous breakfast included in the price. Buffet continental and a-la-carte hot meals all included. Overly garden area. Very nice bar and lounge uk relax and a great location. Highly recommend."

"Plenty of parking on-site. Check in was quick and easy. Room was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast was very nice and well stocked. The bar is reasonably priced and well stocked. Good, free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. Thurrock retail park is about 15 minutes walk."
