"We really loved our stay here - not sure why the reviews are so bad. The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-)) There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply. The service in the restaurant...

"The location was good. Shower is extremely SMALL. There is a shared kitchen , however it's the family's kitchen which makes it VERY uncomfortable to use. The right up is very misleading and makes it sound like the kitchen is to be shared with other guests. A seperate fridge and kettle would help. Parking is limited, however we managed to be able to park out front."

"I stayed here for one week during a work trip! Everything was great. I absolutely loved the host! she was super kind and lovely. Unfortunately I couldn't speak Italian with her but she was very patient with me. If I come back to Matera, I will definitely stay with them again. "
